Experience

Lior Derhy is Managing Partner at NewAlpha AM and Head of the Venture Capital business.

He has built his experience on more than 40 Venture Capital investments, 25+ exits and multiple M&A operations in the financial services industry.

Lior joined NewAlpha AM in 2013 and launched the Private Equity activity in 2014 with the creation of the 1st French Venture Capital fund dedicated to Fintech. He represents NewAlpha on the board of several Fintech start-ups in France and worldwide.

Between 2009 and 2013, he was Investment Director at La Française AM. Lior actively participated in the launch in 2012 of Next Invest, the first French institutional seeding fund implementing a Private Equity approach to support asset management entrepreneurs.

Prior to this, he was Corporate Affairs Manager in charge of financial monitoring and strategic projects at La Française in 2004. Lior started his career in 2000 at Deloitte in the Audit Mid & Large Caps sector.

Lior is a chartered accountant and holds a master’s degree in International Accounting and Financial Management.
